Article Retraction & Withdrawal

Papers published in Oceania Journal will be considered for retraction if:

  1. there is clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, either due to error (e.g. data falsification) or honest error (e.g. miscalculation or experimental error)
  2. the findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper cross-referencing, permission, or justification (i.e., a case of redundant publication)
  3. they are plagiarism
  4. they involve unethical research

The retraction mechanism follows the Retraction Guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) which can be accessed at https://publicationethics.org/files/retraction%20guidelines.pdf .
